Excellent Hotel Experience

The reception team demonstrated helpfulness, knowledge, and a lovely sense of humor. I found the room quite cozy and it provided a view across the river. The spa included a sauna, a steam room, a pool. ice.
I did find that the gym was sparse. There was no water available, and the weights maximum capacity was 15kg.

Breakfast offered a selection. I ate breakfast twice and found the selection to be great. Availability of pastel de natas was a welcome treat and the staff maintains everything stocked.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The spa pool and saunas were available for use (it was a good experience!).
The reception staff were not obliging when I explained that items were missing. There was no follow-up from any staff about this situation. I even spoke to the manager on duty and there was no action from management either.

Check-in was quick. The room was pleasant.
The front desk lady was not willing to help answer questions about train tickets. The gentleman were warm, cute, and helpful and answered the phone for the Bolt driver, which I appreciated. Toiletries were not refilled daily. We paid for three people in the room, yet we received two bottles of water on the first day and two sets of toothbrushes. I asked for water on the third day, they said they only offer bottled water once, and the rest of the stay, please drink tap water.

the location was acceptable. it was near many restaurants.
i faced some problems. the shower had poor pressure and no hot water showed up in the morning. the poached egg at breakfast? a sorry excuse. the pastries tasted stale.
